I know there are zillions of options for this and I have to do lots of research- but to start the search, I want to go to India to study vocal music. I´m pretty open to location-- I´ve been studying north & eastern classical singing in the states for about 4 years, so I´m not at a total beginner´s level. I´m not sure if a private teacher or academy setting would be better-- if anyone has any names/ideas that I could look more into, that´d be great! Thanks!

Why vocal only?.....see(sorry) when indian music flows with your exixtence then the words will come on your toung automatically and then it would be end less potential for your happyness and your reserch......my uncle's family they are in touch with indian clsiicle music from 2-3 generations and having the VEDIC knowledge with indian classicle music..you say?...i dont know you sorry(if i say any thing wrong)
